Publishing

When the answer is published, it becomes the official COPA U response to the pilot’s question. Here’s what happens.

What Publication Triggers

The published answer becomes visible on the question’s public page. The pilot who asked the question can now read the full expert response. The question status changes to Published and moves to the Published tab on your dashboard.

The answer is also ingested into Commander’s knowledge base. This is the multiplier effect — future pilots who ask Commander similar questions will receive responses informed by your expertise. Your work compounds.

The Published Version

Publication creates a final, immutable version snapshot marked as the published version. The full version history remains intact — every draft, every revision, every discussion message is preserved. But the published version is what the pilot sees.

After Publication

Published answers are the end of the active workflow. The question is complete. You can still:

  • View the full version history and discussion thread
  • See the published answer on the public question page
  • Monitor member feedback in the Ratings tab

Your published answers remain in the Published tab as a record of your contributions.
