The Expert Dashboard

The dashboard is your home base. It shows every question relevant to you, organized by priority.

Overview

When you first open the dashboard, you land on the Overview — a single page that surfaces what needs your attention right now.

At the top, a stats bar shows at-a-glance counts: Queued, In Progress, In Review, your count for This Week, and your All-Time total.

Below the stats, the overview groups questions into three priority tiers:

  • Action Items — Things that need your action. Your drafts in progress and questions waiting for your review appear here, with review items highlighted in amber to signal urgency.

  • Opportunities — Questions where you can help. This includes questions that need reviewers (in-review questions in your categories where you’re not yet involved) and the open queue of unclaimed questions.

  • FYI — Passive tracking. Questions where you’re waiting on others to act, plus your recently published answers.

Each section shows up to five items with a View all link if there are more.

The left sidebar organizes your queues into two groups:

My Work — Questions you’re actively involved in:

  • Drafts — Questions you’ve claimed and are writing answers for
  • Needs My Review — In-review questions waiting for your approval
  • Waiting — Questions where you’ve done your part and are waiting on others
  • Published — Your completed, published answers

Jump In — Places to find new work:

  • Open Queue — Unclaimed questions matching your expertise categories
  • Needs Reviewers — In-review questions in your categories that need more reviewers
  • Declined — Questions you’ve declined (kept for your records)

Each sidebar item shows a count badge with the number of items in that queue. Click any item to see the full list.

Question Cards

Each question appears as a card showing:

  • Status badge — Color-coded indicator (Queued, Drafting, In Review, Published, Declined)
  • Category — The expertise area (e.g., “Advanced Avionics”)
  • Aircraft model — Which Cirrus variant the question concerns (SR20, SR22, SR22T, Vision Jet)
  • Team avatars — Small portraits of any experts already working on the question
  • Timestamps — When the question was asked and, if applicable, when it was answered

Click any card to open the full question detail page.

Capacity

A capacity bar at the top of the page shows how many questions you’ve claimed this week versus your configured limit. The counter resets every Monday.

If you’re at capacity, you can still browse open questions, but consider whether you can realistically take on more before claiming.
